Home Page of Myrdal Fjords

Myrdal Fjords is located in the Red River Valley, near Edinburg, ND. We raise Norwegain Fjord Horses on a small scale, but with lots of care and quality. We raise 1 - 2 foals a year, all are handled from birth and are used to a life with kids, dogs,tractors and cattle form day one. We are members of NFHR and strongly committed to the principles thereof. I grew up in Norway, and have been familiar with the Fjord since I was little, as well as training and raising horses for over 20 years. We hope you enjoy this page with the photos of our Fjords and critters. As of January 2003 we have 5 Fjords on the farm; Fair Acres Heidi, Ingrid I, Stapastein Kaja, Johnstone's Bengerman and MF Nordavind. We usually breed two of our mares each year and the current choice of stallion is FSF Tor, a young promising stallion out of Una by Rokida's Knut; Grnad Champion Stallion Blue Earth. Tor had his first crop on the ground the spring of 2002 of which MF Nordavind was one.
