Welcome to the home of the Glicks Located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, in the heart of Lancaster County. Our Norwegian Fjord gelding (Halnas) was foaled in 1994. Halnas was purchased in June 2000 from Paul & Louella Stauffer of Port Trevorton, Pa. He is used for driving, single and double, and also used for some farm work. A 2 year old filly (Una) was bought in February 2001. Una came from Patti Jo Walter at Francis Creek Fjords. She was formerly owned by Old Hickory Farms. Next came Hardy. A stallion foaled in 1999. He has lots of energy but is coming along good in his training. In the fall of 2001 we purchased a White Dun weanling colt, hoping for a stallion prospect, but he hasn't proven himself worthy of it yet. I haven't given up on him yet. I have found the Fjord to be a charming and intelligent horse with a gentle disposition, willing to perform a varity of tasks. We also have two Standardbred/Haflinger crosses. A mare foaled in 1996 and a stallion foaled in 1998. They are both used for driving, single and double. Their build is similiar to the Haflinger, but are bay colored like their Standarbred mother. While being a great "all purpose" horse, they do not possess the gentle disposition that a Fjord has. Visitors are always welcome.
